YouTube Shorts is a new feature of YouTube. Using this feature anyone can create a YouTube short video from their smartphone. You can create a video that is less than 60 seconds in length as a shorts video. You can either record a short video from the YouTube Shorts tab or your default camera. I personally think if you make a YouTube short video with your smartphone camera and edit it with an editing app you will get more views than an unedited raw video.
When YouTube Shorts first launched, it was only available to a few users in the YouTube app. But now almost every user can make a short video in a minute or two. It is better to create a Shorts video in vertical length (9:16) than the video needs to be sized (16:9).
How to make a short video?
You can easily create a YT Shorts video from your smartphone camera. First, open your smartphone camera and set it to 9:16 aspect ratio. Then record a video you want to upload and then edit it. Please note that any video with a duration of less than 60 seconds is considered a YouTube Short Video. In my experience making a short video of 15 seconds is very good. But if you want to make a 59 second or 30 second video. Remember if you edit the video you will get more views.

If we want to make youtube shorts viral fast then we need to follow the process consistently. There is no rocket science to digital marketing. For some it takes a day to go viral and for some it takes 1 year to go viral. Always remember the process is more important than the result.
Every digital marketer says social media platforms are always pushing their new features. So that users can use it more in their daily life. As of now, YouTube is giving importance to YouTube shorts.
If your channel is in tech category then don't upload shorts other than tech. For example, if you upload a shorts video on dancing, cooking and your channel is related to technology.
